~ Welcome to the Dan Bennett Renaissance Artistry Website ~

Dan, who is self-taught, has mastered the artistic skill to conceive an appropriate workable design, and the engineering skills to create exquisite works of art.

His artistic designs and historic restoration experience have been abstract and figurative; many incorporate narratives drawn from the Bible, history, or literature; many represent saints or patrons, or use symbolic motifs. Windows and murals within a building may be thematic; within a church depicting episodes from the life of Christ, within a museum with figures representing the arts and sciences; or within a home, with scenes of flora and fauna, landscapes and seascapes.

His artwork is prevalent in luxury homes, commercial buildings, and places of worship. Dan was independently contracted or worked with other artist decorators to create beautiful stained glass windows, faux finishes, murals, and decorative paint restoration projects. His mural at the Moody Mansion in Galveston, TX, the restoration work at the Detroit Institute of Art, and The Ryerson Architectural Library at the Chicago Art Institute are some of the most public and have remained unchanged.

Today he lives and works in Vero Beach and continues to do glass painting and design, statue restoration, historical paint restoration, as well as decorative paint and murals.
